RHOPLEX® HG-44P Acrylic Co-polymer Emulsion was developed specifically as a paint vehicle for both interior and light duty exterior high gloss and semigloss enamels. This aqueous latex allows the formulator to make enamel-like paints with the outstanding block resistance, stain removal, and washability needed for indoor use. RHOPLEX HG-44P also has good metal adhesion, resistance to household chemicals and can be formulated for light maintenance applications. With RHOPLEX® HG-44P, enamels can be easily formulated that represent a true alternative to oil-based paints. All of these benefits can be achieved without sacrificing the advantages inherent in high-quality waterborne acrylic paints.

ACRYSOL™ RM-725 Rheology Modifier is designed as a universal, efficient mid shear viscosity builder with all binder types that are used for interior wall paints as well as exterior systems for wood, trim stains and masonry. This KU-building associative thickener offers formulators an excellent balance of sag resistance and leveling, including PVA and VAE binder based paints. ACRYSOL™ RM-725 Rheology Modifier also contributes significant to high shear viscosity, allowing the reduction of ICI builder use level in the paint.

Furthermore, it shows a dramatic improvement in alkali resistance over hot masonry substrates compared to other elastomeric binders.
