EBECRYL® 8210 also contains primary hydroxyl groups that can be utilized for dual cure polymerization. Dual cure can provide instantaneous tack-free coating surfaces via UV or EB exposure while reaction of the hydroxyl groups with a suitable isocyanate enables polymerization in regions of the coating where UV or EB energy exposure is insufficient or absent.

SharkDISPersion SX™ is a binder and resin used in plastics and elastomers for artificial grass and carpet applications. It provides good anti-static properties and UV resistance.

The elimination or reduction of photoinitiator decreases the potential for migration in indirect food contact applications. EBECRYL LEO® 10103can be used for low migration over print varnishes along with flexographic and offset inks in the entire color range, including white. EBECRYL LEO® 10103 at 10-20% by weight in a coating or ink can provide a good balance of surface and through cure.
