D.E.R.® 6116 Solid Epoxy Resin is a low molecular weight, solid reaction product of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A. D.E.R.® 6116 Solid Epoxy Resin is a standard, low molecular weight, solid epoxy resin which has been developed for use in powder coatings where it provides excellent flow in standard as well as in low temperature cure systems. D.E.R. 6116 Resin can be used in both epoxy and epoxy/polyester powder coating applications to improve mechanical and chemical resistance properties. D.E.R.® 642U Solid Epoxy Resin is a novolac modified, medium molecular weight, solid reaction product of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A. D.E.R.® 642U-20 Solid Epoxy Resin is a novolac modified resin and has an average functionality of approximately 2.6. It is designed for powder coating applications. The resin is mainly used in industrial powder coatings in combination with D.E.R.® 663U Resin, D.E.R.® 664UE Resin or D.E.R.® 667E Resin cured with a phenolic hardener such as D.E.H.® 80 Curing Agent. Such formulations provide excellent corrosion and chemical resistance combined with good mechanical properties. Typical applications include pipe coatings and internal drum linings.
