PC-2544â„¢ Defoamer is a 40 % solution of an acrylic polymer in a hydrocarbon solvent. It was developed to improve the defoamer stability performance for formulated Group I and Group II lubricants. PC-2544â„¢ Defoamer is also suggested for evaluation in specialty applications where efficient high temperature performance is required. Typical use levels of the defoamer solutions range from 50 - 500 ppm (20 - 200 ppm active polymer). The optimum level is dependent upon the nature of the oil, and it is therefore necessary to run a concentration profile on each oil.

LOTADER® 4700 is a random ethylene-ethyl acrylate-maleic anhydride terpolymer. Acrylic ester brings softness and polarity, while keeping high thermal stability during processing. The high content of acrylic ester leads to high flexibility (low-crystallinity) and high impact absorption behavior. Maleic anhydride provides reactivity (towards OH and NH2 groups), leading to optimal dispersion during melt mixing with engineering thermoplastics. LOTADER® 4700 is suitable as modifier to improve the impact strength of polyamides (PA6, PA66, PA12...). It can also be used as a compatibiliser for polyamides/polyolefins blends.
