MAINCOTE™ PR-71 is used for all protective coating applications, the first need is for adhesion to and passivation of the substrate. In the past, difficult-to-adhere-to substrates were often treated with a vinyl wash primer to passivate the substrate and provide adhesion for subsequent coats. These vinyl wash primers are increasingly difficult to use as they are very low in solids, high in VOC, and contain toxic pigments. In contrast, MAINCOTE™ PR-71 Waterborne Acrylic Resin allows the coatings manufacturer to supply primers that not only adhere to difficult metallic substrates, but also give good corrosion resistance over carbon steel. This resin's ability to be topcoated by most solvent-based coating systems makes it a very versatile water-based primer.

ACRYSOL™ RM-8 is a rheology modifier based on (±)-propylene glycol, a diol. It is compatible with polyurethanes (PU).

MAINCOTE™ AE-58 is an aqueous acrylic emulsion copolymer which can be crosslinked with waterborne dispersions of epoxy resin in two-component acrylic/epoxy coatings. The resulting acrylic/epoxy coatings have properties such as low VOC, long pot life, and outstanding hardness, UV durability and solvent/chemical resistance. The high performance coatings can be used in a variety of interior and exterior applications for metal and concrete surfaces, such as institutional wall coatings and industrial metal primers, topcoats and direct-to-metal (DTM) coatings.

RHOPLEX® VSR-5102 is a 100% Acrylic Binder designed for low-VOC interior and exterior flat to semi-gloss coatings. RHOPLEX® VSR-5102 can be formulated with little or no coalescent to pass the most stringent VOC regulations and is manufactured without the use of APEO surfactants. RHOPLEX® VSR-5102 offers a good balance of abrasive scrub resistance and stain removal along with very good exterior durability and dirt pick up resistance facilitating the formulation of high quality, low-VOC and low odor interior and exterior paints.

RHOPLEX® 57 is a binder and resin used primarily as a binder.

RHOPLEX® AC-1034 is a styrenated acrylic copolymer with a distinct composition that imparts excellent water resistance as well as a good degree of flexibility. It is designed for use in edge sealer products and offers very good compatibility with high levels of waxes and fillers, which are often used in such products. RHOPLEX® AC-1034 can also be used as a clear primer or sealer coat to provide water resistance.

ACRYSOL™ RM-845 Rheology Modifier is a new generation, solvent-free, APEO-free, non-ionic product. ACRYSOL™ RM-845 is based upon patented and proprietary technology that enables it to contain 27% solids yet be provided at a low viscosity to allow facile pumping and pouring. ACRYSOL RM-845 Rheology Modifier builds mid-shear Stormer viscosity more efficiently than existing KU-builders. It is recommended for acrylic- and styrene/acrylic-based latex coating formulations. ACRYSOL™ RM-845 Rheology Modifier offers excellent flow and leveling, as well as gloss development, for both interior and exterior paints. It imparts a rheological profile to architectural and industrial coatings very similar to that of ACRYSOL RM-825, but with the benefit of no added solvent, allowing for ultra-low VOC formulations.

ACRYSOL™ DR-300 associative thickener delivers effective shear-thinning rheology in coatings ranging from matt to semi-gloss, with a primary focus on exterior applications. The distinctive viscosity profile of this synthetic liquid thickener ensures sag resistance for higher film builds, all while maintaining the improved flow typical of associative thickeners. ACRYSOL™ DR-300 also provides good early water resistance to acrylic, styrene-acrylic, and vinyl-acrylic coatings, even on chalky or aged surfaces. As with all Designed Rheology products, ACRYSOL™ DR-300 is easily incorporated during the paint manufacturing process. A key benefit of ACRYSOL™ DR-300 is that it offers superior performance at a lower formulation cost compared to traditional cellulosic thickeners, owing to its enhanced thickening efficiency.

RHOPLEX® DCR-317 is an aqueous all-acrylic emulsion polymer designed for formulating into high solids Deck and, Concrete Restoration coatings. Restoration coatings can be formulated with RHOPLEX® DCR-317 Binder to help provide excellent flexibility and dirt pick- up resistance, in addition to adhesion to concrete and well-weathered wood.

TAMOL® 165A is a high-performance dispersant for latex gloss through flat paints. It is an ammonium salt of a hydrophobic copolymer dispersant that offers enhanced properties to latex paints, resulting in improved water resistance, wet adhesion, early blister resistance, water spot resistance, and corrosion resistance.

RHOPLEX® AC-630 LOX is a binder and resin that functions as a binder.

RHOPLEX® SG-10C is a versatile 100% copolymer that was designed for use in high-quality interior/exterior semigloss paints. RHOPLEX® SG-10C provides paint formulators with an opportunity to achieve excellent early and ultimate block resistance, and very good flow and leveling. This product establishes a new level of performance for aqueous applications. RHOPLEX® SG-10C is an APEO (alkyl phenol ethoxylate) surfactant free1 binder and contains no intentionally added PFAS.

PARALOID™ B-67 100% Resin is particularly compatible with medium and long-oil alkyds, drying oils, and oleoresinous varnishes. When used to modify these materials, coatings with improved hardness, faster drying speed, and better retention of color and gloss result. Hold out and brushing characteristics are also improved.

RHOPLEX® HG-98C is an acrylic emulsion polymer designed specifically for low solvent content, aqueous gloss enamels with excellent appearance and resistance properties. RHOPLEX® HG-98C uses ambient temperature crosslinking technology to offer improved performance versus conventional polymers. It has excellent hardness development and durability for high traffic interior applications.
