Baerostab® UBZ 7951 is a barium-zinc stabilizer designed for plastics manufacturing, specifically for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). DOP is still widely used as a plasticizer in selected applications where volatiles are less of an issue. It is also used as a hydraulic fluid and as a dielectric fluid in capacitors.
