HIKOREZ® T-3100 is pale yellow thermoplastic C9 modified C5 resin. It is obtained from polymerizing unsaturated aliphatic and aromatic olefins and diolefins derived from the process of thermal cracking of naphtha. The major usages are tackifier for solvent based pressure sensitive adhesive (SBPSA), hot melt based pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) and hot melt adhesive (HMA).

CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

EBECRYL® LEO 10801 is a hexafunctional polyester acrylate oligomer that provides high reactivity and the proper ink-water balance necessary for good lithographic printing. Lithographic inks based on EBECRYL® LEO 10801 display excellent rheological properties ensuring good ink transfer from the printing plate to the blanket and then to the substrate, combined with good dot definition. EBECRYL® LEO 10801 has been specifically developed to formulate UV/EB curable inks with low extractables and low odor for indirect food contact applications.

Films of EBECRYL®640/20 TO cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit high surface hardness and gloss and the excellent solvent resistance typical of an epoxy resin. EBECRYL®640/20 TO finds broad use in UV/EB applications, such as inks, coatings and overprint varnishes.
