4202 (M 42.008) is a nonstaining, water displacing anticorrosion additive giving excellent results in the humidity and salt spray cabinet. It was developed especially for application in rust preventatives. Additin RC 4202 (M 42.008) can be easily removed by alkaline washing. Additin RC 4202 (M 42.008) can also be used as an excellent corrosion inhibitor in lubricating greases. Additin RC 4202 (M 42.008) is a non-newtonian fluid and may have a significant variability in viscosity during storage. The viscosity can be influenced by shear strain. Not suitable for circulating systems.
