Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.

Application Information
  • Metalworking fluids of medium to heavy machining operations
  • Honing oils
  • Grinding oils
  • Broaching oils
  • Deep-hole drilling oils
  • Additin® RC 3740 (M 10439) is an ashless antiwear and EP additive for metal- free metalworking fluids. It is preferably used in combination with sulfur carriers such as Additin® RC 3740. The treatment levels are in the range 0.2 to 1.5% by weight depending on application. Its use can enhance the surface finish of the workpiece and improve the tool life.
