Additin® RC 3770

Additin® RC 3770 is a chemical mixture used as an anti-wear agent and extreme pressure additive in gear oils, hydraulic oils, metalworking fluids, and industrial oils. It is applied at a dosage of 0.2-3% (w/w) and has a nitrogen content of 1.4% (w/w). The product provides excellent wear protection, extreme pressure performance, and good surface finish, and is an ashless additive suitable for various lubricating applications.

Additin® RC 3770 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive based on phosphorus and sulfur. Lubricants can be optimally formulated to meet the requirements according to FZG (DIN 51354, part 2) and Vickers vane pump test (Type V 104-C, DIN 51389, part 2) using Additin® RC 3770. The recommended treatment levels are in the range 0.4 - For metalworking Additin® RC 3770 is preferably used in combination with sulfur carriers. Additin® RC 3770 enhances the surface finish of the workpieces and improves the tool life. Typical treament leves are in the range of 0.2 - 3.0 % by weight Additin® RC 3770
