Product Application

Additin® RC 9502 is ideally suited for use in ashless hydraulic fluids for which the following high performance demands have to be met:

  • Very high oxidation stability (extended service life)
  • High load carrying capacity
  • Good demulsification
  • Good corrosion protection against steel and non-ferrous metals
  • Good filterability
  • Excellent thermal and hydrolytic stability

Additin® RC 9502 is a "low zinc" hydraulic fluid package offering outstanding antiwear corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at low treatment rates of 0.6 % by weight. Additin® RC 9502 can be used to formulate high performance hydraulic fluids with excellent thermal stability (according to Cincinnati Machine P-68/P-69/P-70 requirements), hydrolytic stability (according to ASTM-D 2619 HF-0 requirements) and filtration properties even when extremely fine filters are used (according to ISO 13357 part 1-wet and part 2-dry).
