Product Applications

It is used in combination with liquid Epoxy resins or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents. Ideal for concrete repair compounds, castings, encapsulations, grouting, floor coating, potting and solvent free coatings, adhesive etc. Can be used in combination with polyamides or other hardener to reduce the viscosity.

Properties

Physical Form
Product Properties

Epoxy coating systems cured with AP 5225 present the following features.

  • Suitable for ambient temperature cure.
  • Low viscosity with moderate pot life
  • Good corrosion resistance.

Safety & Health

Handling Precautions

The hardener will absorb moisture & CO2 when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization. Use personal protective equipments and
follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical and solvents & their vapor.
