- Bluesil™ EMUL 284 has many industrial applications:
- Fabric softener for textile finishing preparations.
- Shiny finish for leathers and hides.
- Additive for homecare products (polishes).
- Rubber mold release.
- Usage Information
- The low viscosity of Bluesil™ EMUL 284 allows its use as delivered. When used in various applications it may also be employed after dilution with soft water. To dilute, always add water to the emulsion while stirring softly.
- In the textile industry, Bluesil™ EMUL 284 is used as:
- Fabric softener. As an additive in customer specific preparations. Always check if the emulsion is compatible with the formulations ingredients.
- Elastomeric softener. In combination with cross-linkers.
- Additive to allow for a shiny aspect of leathers and hides. The product is applied by spray or with a roller, then dried under the usual conditions. Bluesil™ EMUL 284 improves gloss and feel of the substrate.
- The quantity ofBluesil™ EMUL 284 to be employed will depend on the level of gloss and touch effect required.
