ACEMATT® 3600

ACEMATT® 3400 is a specially after-treated thermal silica with a unique property profile. Along with excellent matting efficiency, it provides multiple functionalities in coating formulations. It is especially recommended for soft-feel applications with high surface smoothness.

These products are typically used to reduce VOC levels; increase filler loadings; improve hardness; and add burnish, scrub and abrasion resistance to a variety of coating formulations. Due to the ceramic chemistry of these products, they are also UV transparent down to 250 nm and have utility in radiation-curable and thin-film powder coatings.

It is a safe, multifunctional nutraceutical ingredient, containing both water and oil-loving moieties, delivering excellent benefits to both oil and water-based systems. It is also an efficient solubilizer capable of solubilizing and emulsifying additional cannabinoids and active or functional ingredients, to create more bioavailable, water-soluble forms than can dilute clear in water-based products or form stable microemulsions.
