  • COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT has been developed by ELKEM SILICONES for formulation into emulsions destined for use in textile applications.

COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT is easily emulsified into micro- or macro-emulsions, using typically C13 [EO]6 alcohol ethoxylate surfactants.

The application of the product onto textile surfaces imparts the following properties:

  • Total non-yellowing even at high temperatures.
  • Imparts or preserves the textile hydrophilicity.
  • Full soft hand.

When stored in its original packaging: COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT E4 may be stored at temperatures between 2°C / 36°F and 40°C /104°F for up to 24 months from its date of manufacturing.
