- Processing Information
- CRAYVALLAC WS-1147 is readily dispersed into coating formulations using a variety of techniques. It also retards the settlement of pigments and assists in their re-dispersion.
- The use of pre-dispersed waxes, such as CRAYVALLAC WS-1147, avoids the inconveniences commonly associated with micronised powders.
- Dispersions by nature are also easier and more efficient to incorporate, as they require less intensive processing.
- Due to the multitude of formulations, processing methods and application conditions used in the field, we strongly recommend that all products containing CRAYVALLAC WS-1147 be tested thoroughly to ensure suitability for their intended end use.
- Product Applications
CRAYVALLAC® WW-1074 is suitable for use in the following water-based and solvent-based applications:
- Liquid inks
- Overprint varnishes
- Can and coil coatings
- General industrial coatings
- Due to its outstanding heat resistance properties, CRAYVALLAC® WW-1074 is well suited for heat seal applications e.g. snack food packs.
