Product Applications
  • The product can be sprayed or coated onto a substrate.
  • The coated substrate must then be dried and cured (crosslinked) to obtain absorbent properties.

  • Clear film
  •  Water soluble character aids in clean-up
  • Infinitely water dilutable
  • 1 gram of dried, crosslinked PD8271X will absorb about 100 grams DI water
  • Film formation is realized at room temperature
  • Safe to use; no solvents, low odor, and non-flammable in the wet state
  • Polymer crosslinks after drying and seeing a heat cure greater than 13°C
  • Dried substrates will be hygroscopic. At 45% relative humidity, the crosslinked polymer will absorb up to 25% moisture and become soft/pliable
