Applications & Uses
- Application Method
- Compatible Substrates & Surfaces
- Product Applications
- The product can be sprayed or coated onto a substrate.
- The coated substrate must then be dried and cured (crosslinked) to obtain absorbent properties.
Properties
- Physical Form
- Soluble In
- Product Characteristics
- Clear film
- Water soluble character aids in clean-up
- Infinitely water dilutable
- 1 gram of dried, crosslinked PD8271X will absorb about 100 grams DI water
- Film formation is realized at room temperature
- Safe to use; no solvents, low odor, and non-flammable in the wet state
- Polymer crosslinks after drying and seeing a heat cure greater than 13°C
- Dried substrates will be hygroscopic. At 45% relative humidity, the crosslinked polymer will absorb up to 25% moisture and become soft/pliable
Safety & Health
