HFGEL 120-B11

HFGEL 120-B11 is an organophilic clay. It is designed for use primarily in aliphatic, aromatic and other non-polar to medium polarity solvent systems. It disperses easily, does not require chemical activation and can be incorporated at any point in the manufacturing process using typical processing equipment. HFGEL 120-B11 imparts viscosity increase, sag control and helps prevent settling.

Incorporation Information
  • HFGEL 120-B11 is readily dispersible in the pigment grind under high shear in aliphatic or aromatic systems. It does not require heat or a chemical activator to reach the proper level of activation.
  • In many formulations HFGEL 120-B11 can be post added under low shear. This is best accomplished at temperatures between 20°C (68°F) and 35°C (95°F).
