- Applications
- Recommended Use Level
HFGEL 120-Z is typically used at levels of 0.2% - 1.0% by weight of the system, depending upon the degree of thickening or other properties desired.
Properties
- Physical Form
- Incorporation Information
- HFGEL 120-Z is best incorporated in the dispersion and requires no chemical activator to achieve optimal activation. It can be dispersed in the pigment grind under high shear agitation using normal processing equipment.
- HFGEL 120-Z can also be incorporated in the letdown tank assuming minimal shear is reached and sufficient time for full activation is allowed. Typical dispersion equipment for HFGEL 120-Z includes Cowles-type dissolvers as well as sand, ball and three-roll mills.
