Hybase® C-311

Hybase® C-311 is a 300 TBN oil soluble overbased calcium sulfonate. Hybase® C-311 is a typically used as a detergent and rust inhibitor in crankcase lubricants. It can be used as the sole detergent but will also work well in conjunction with other detergent types, such as calcium phenate.

  • Hybase® C-311 is a liquid overbased calcium sulfonate and is normally handled at elevated temperatures.
  • For general purposes, the following storage and handling temperatures are recommemded:
  • Storage :60 - 80°C, Handling:80 - 90°C
