CYMEL® 250 Resin is a new type of mixalkylated methylated and n-butylated melamine formaldehyde resin with high imino functions. It is designed specifically for automotive coating system and does not require a strong acid catalyst for fast cure response. CYMEL® 250 Resin is similar reactivity to conventional n-butylated melamine resin. A formulation by using CYMEL® 250 Resin can achieve lower VOC, compared to a formulation by using conventional n-butylated melamine formaldehyde resin.

EBECRYL® 180 is a multifunctional reactive diluent with a high degree of acrylic unsaturation and finds use in a variety of ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings and ink systems where a high degree of crosslinking is desired. EBECRYL® 180 is a mixture of predominantly the tri- and tetra-acrylate esters of pentaerythritol. EBECRYL® 180 has a higher ratio of tetra- to tri-acrylate ester than the similar product PETIA, and therefore typically crystallizes at normal ambient temperatures.

EBECRYL® 246 is a difunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate that does not contain any intentionally added organic tin compounds, heavy metals*, hydroquinone (HQ) or methyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ). EBECRYL® 3300 is a highly reactive epoxy acrylate, diluted in DPGDA. When formulated and cross-linked with other suitable radiation curable oligomers and reactive diluents, it results in durable, hard-elastic and chemically resistant coating films of high quality. For UV curing a suitable photoinitiator must be added to the formulation. The addition level depends on the line speed, number of lamps and thickness of the coating film.
