    Processing Information

Processing guidelines: Stabaxol® MB TPE 6030 is delivered in a ready-to-process condition (moisture content < 0.03 wt%). For achieving a lower moisture content the conditions according to polymer suppliers recommendations, but not higher than 100 °C (212 °F). Most suitable at 80 °C (176 °F) for 2 hours in dry-air dryers. Depends on hardness of the TPE-E and service conditions of the finished part.

Equipment: Stabaxol® MB TPE 6030 can be processed on regular extruders/injection molding machines suitable for thermoplastic urethan. Additionally needed equipment see Handling precautions. At processing temperatures traces of volatile matters can escape which have a temporary irritant effect on the skin, eyes and respiratory tracts. Adequate local ventilation should be provided at all places where Stabaxol® MB TPE 6030 containing products are exposed to temperatures of 230 °C (446 °F) or more. Direct contact with vapors formed by hot Stabaxol® MB TPE 6030 must be avoided.
