Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
WANAMINE™ 8100 product’s shelf life is 24 months under recommended storage conditions. The product stored past expiration may still be used if the analysis results so indicate.
- Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
- WANAMINE™ 8100 may be stored under air at ambient temperatures for extended periods.
- A nitrogen blanket is suggested for all storage, however, to reduce the effect of accidental exposure to high temperatures and to reduce the absorption of atmospheric moisture and carbon dioxide.
- The polyetheramine should be stored in an original container in a dry, cool and well ventilated area to prevent direct light and away from acid incompatible materials.
- It should be noted that pronounced discoloration is likely to occur at temperatures above 140F (60 ℃), whatever the gaseous pad.
- Do not store in unlabeled containers. The storage area must be locked. Keep the container tight and sealed before using the container.
- Opened containers must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. In the event of spillage of this product, the area may be flushed with water.
- The proper method for disposal of waste material is by incineration with strict observance of the local regulations.
- WANAMINE™ 8100 product’s shelf life is 24 months under recommended storage conditions.
- The product stored past expiration may still be used if the analysis results so indicate.
