XIBOND® 140

XIBOND® 140 is a reactive additive to improve the blend morphology of polymer blends. This additive is a random copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride.

Processing Information
  • XIBOND® 140 can be processed in all types of regular polymer processing equipment. For good dispersion in styrenic polymers, such as ABS, twin screw extruders with a mild screw configuration and vacuum degassing facility are recommended.
  • To avoid XIBOND® 140 degradation, temperatures above 335 °C as well as high shear stresses should be avoided.
