This binder uses ambient cross linking technology to offer improved primer performance versus conventional latex polymers. The combination of an all-acrylic backbone and ambient cure crosslinking technology contribute to the excellent balance of properties found with RHOPLEX® PR-33 Emulsion Polymer. The excellent film formation achieved blocks stains from migrating through the dry paint film and yields stain blocking performance at high PVC. Enhanced adhesion and excellent durability are additional attributes of this technology.

EBECRYL® 7100 is an acrylated amine primarily used as a hydrogen donor, or photoactivator, in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. benzophenone), EBECRYL® 7100 provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. Unlike conventional tertiary amines such as N-methyldiethanolamine, EBECRYL® 7100 reacts to become part of the UV cured polymer, resulting in lower residual odor and improved moisture resistance. EBECRYL® 7100 also promotes adhesion to plastic substrates and lowers viscosity when used as a primary component in UV adhesives and coatings.

Its morphology enables relatively high loadings in the masterbatches lowering formulation cost. ROYALE BLACK® PP805, selective production process is designed to achieve a good level of filterability even at high loadings. Due to its relatively larger particle size, PP805 is an easy to disperse carbon black. VANCRYL® 927 has excellent compatibility with pigment dispersions and alcohols.
