CRAYVALLAC® LA-377 is a modified urea dissolved in DMSO. CRAYVALLAC® LA-377 is a pourable liquid rheology modifier for post addition to water-based coatings such as water-dilutable alkyds and acrylic emulsions. It was developed to ensure particular suitability for metal coating as its formula is lithium chloride-free. CRAYVALLAC® LA-377 should be added to the coating as a slow stream under low to medium shear conditions to ensure sufficient dispersion. Although efficient stirring is required to ensure homogeneity, elevated temperatures are not required for activation and the use of excessive shear should be avoided.

ZINC OXIDE GRADE 104 is a brilliant white powder manufactured by the French (Indirect) Process. Grade 104 is our popular medium particle size zinc oxide offering high assay and very low impurities. Grade 104 is approved for pharmaceutical drug use as an excipient, is USFDA approved as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) at 21cfr182.8991 and is authorized by the USFDA for use wherever GRAS is approved including food contact in rubber, plastics, and coatings. EBECRYL® P115 is a copolymerizable amine used as a hydrogen donor, or photoactivator, in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. benzophenone), EBECRYL® P115 provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. Recommended levels are from 5 to 15% based on the total formulation, usually combined with 3-5% photosensitizer. EBECRYL® P115 can be used with EBECRYL® P39 (1) (a polymeric benzophenone derivative) to produce UV cured coatings and inks with low residual odor.
