- EBECRYL® 242N is developed for the use in flexible coatings for metal substrates having good adhesion and excellent flexibility combined with corrosion resistance properties.
- For the UV curing a suitable photoinitiator (e.g. Esacure KL200 from Lamberti) must be added.
- The quantity depends on the belt speed, number of lamps and thickness of the paint film.

Storage & Handling
- Storage and Handling Conditions
- EBECRYL® 242N is not exposed to temperatures exceeding 40°C for a long time.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- This might cause uncontrollable polymerization of the product with generation of heat.
- Storage in stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene or baked phenolic lined container.
- Use dry air to displace material removed from the container.
- Avoid eye and skin contact, avoid inhalation.
- Local exhaust is recommended.
- This material should not be stored for more than 2 years.
- EBECRYL® 242 can become (partially) crystalline during storage at temperatures below 40°C.
- Crystallization does not impact the quality of the product.
- Before use the material should be fully liquified by heating for max. 48 hours at 80°C.
