EBECRYL® 3605 is a partially acrylated ester of a bisphenol A type epoxy resin. It contains both acrylate and epoxy functionalities. This resin may be cured by exposure to either ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) in conjunction with conventional epoxy curing. It may also be cured with UV radiation using a mixed photoinitiator system consisting of free radical and cationic photoinitiators. Ebecryl®3605 has been developed for applications requiring improved coating performance properties over those obtainable with conventional UV/EB curing alone.

Dynasylan® PTMO an alkyltrialkoxysilane is important component in sol­gel systems. Dynasylan® PTMO is a colorless, low­viscosity liquid. Dynasylan® PTMO is regarded as trifunctional since all three alkoxy groups can hydrolyze. Dynasylan® PTMO also contains a propyl group that adds hydrophobic character to sol­gel coatings. Hydrolysis leads to silanol groups which, in a subsequent condensation reaction, form very stable siloxane bonds (­Si­O­Si­). Condensation occurs parallel to hydrolysis once a certain amount of silanol groups have been formed. The absolute and relative rates of hydrolysis and condensation depend on a number of factors. The most important factors include pH, concentration, solvent, temperature and the catalyst.

ALCOTEX 864 is a polyvinyl alcohol, internally plasticized and supplied in a water solution. ALCOTEX 864 has a medium-high hydrolysis level and a low molecular weight.

Orient Black® N774 is a low surface area, low structure, soft grade carbon black providing high resilience, good elasticity resistance and bending resistance.

KNOCKDOWN 155 is a non-silicone defoamer created specifically for the graphic arts industry. The wide variety of ink formulations requires a broad selection of defoamers. KNOCKDOWN 155 defoamer has proven to be most effective and economical in resolving the most difficult problems of excess foam.

HFGEL 120-B11 is an organophilic clay. It is designed for use primarily in aliphatic, aromatic and other non-polar to medium polarity solvent systems. It disperses easily, does not require chemical activation and can be incorporated at any point in the manufacturing process using typical processing equipment. HFGEL 120-B11 imparts viscosity increase, sag control and helps prevent settling.

RHOPLEX® R-225 is designed to be used in release coatings for masking tapes. It offers tape manufacturers the application advantages of water-based systems. This polymer is simple to formulate, requires no catalyst, and offers the good initial release and re-adhesion characteristics that are obtained with solvent-based release systems.

TEGO® Foamex 812 is an effective defoamer concentrate based on polyether siloxane technology. Universal grinding stage defoamer. Can be used in the let-down with sufficient shear. Prevents macro-and micro-foam.

D.E.R.® 6510-HT solid epoxy resin has been developed for high-performance, fusion bonded epoxy coatings withstanding high operating temperatures. This resin also offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance coupled with the outstanding heat performance. D.E.R.® 6510-HT solid epoxy resin is a 2-functional epoxy resin which has been chemically modified to allow fusion bonded powder coating formulations to withstand operating temperatures up to 160 °C. D.E.R.® 6510-HT solid epoxy resin enables fusion bonded binder systems to achieve an optimized balance of properties using commonly available, commercial crosslinkers and normal processing conditions. D.E.R.® 6510HT solid epoxy resin can be used in combination with standard and modified bisphenol A and novolac epoxy resins. This will help formulators to develop a powder coating system with the right balance of thermal and mechanical properties while still providing good corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.

CYMEL® 323 is a crosslinking agent that offers fast cure, humidity resistance, improved film hardness, and solvent resistance in CASE ingredients.

Stainban™ 186 is a zinc free, odorless, aqueous tannin stain inhibitor additive for water based primers. The unique mechanism of this product allows it to effectively block tannins in stains, and pigmented coatings. It can be easily incorporated at any stage of the paint manufacturing process and is compatible with a wide range of surfactant and dispersants. StainbanTM 186 is effective at any PVC value of primers, however, it is more economical at higher PVC. It may reduce or eliminate the need for zinc oxide in primer formulations. Paints made with StainbanTM 186 have good storage stability and improved humidity resistance. It is HAPS free and does not contribute to VOC. Typical use level ranges from 1 - 4% based upon total formula weight.

Kalama® VITROFLEX® B is a unique blend of dibenzoates specially tailored for the polysulfide market. This benzoate plasticizer is useful particularly in the B-side component of 2K polysulfide sealants. Kalama® VITROFLEX® B imparts good rheology for suspension stability of dispersed solids, elasticity, fast cure rates, and hardness development.

Exolit® AP 422 is a fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate (phase II) produced by a special method. The product is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. It is colorless, non-hygroscopic and non-flammable.

EBECRYL® 767 is used in radiation-curable coatings and functions as a binder and resin in CASE ingredients.

HYDROGRAL® G5 is a glycerol ester of partially hydrogenated rosin. It shows a low acid value and an excellent resistance to oxidation. It is specially recommended for the formulation of chewing gum base.
