CYMEL® 304 Resin is a specially alkylated, high solids melamine crosslinking agent designed specifically for industrial wood coating applications. Systems formulated with CYMEL® 304 Resin exhibit excellent catalyzed stability and films develop excellent early hardness, resistance properties, appearance, and cold check resistance. It has very low free formaldehyde and low evolved formaldehyde on cure relative to conventional urea-based formulas.

CYMEL® 1141 Resin is a highly methylated/iso-butylated, carboxy-modified melamine crosslinker supplied in iso-butanol. CYMEL® 1141 Resin is especially designed for electro-deposition primer formulations requiring excellent corrosion and resistance properties. CYMEL® 1141 Resin contains chelating groups which can form colored compounds with heavy metal ions such as iron and zinc. For that reason it is recommended to use CYMEL® 1141 Resin only in dark single coat applications or primers and not in pastel colors.

CYMEL® 1158 resin is a n-butylated, high imino melamine crosslinker which combines the excellent compatability of a conventional butylated melamine resin with the fast, low temperature cure response of CYMEL® 325 resin. Like other high imino melamine resins, CYMEL® 1158 has a high tendency to selfcondense resulting in films with high film hardness that can be adjusted based on loading. It’s hydrophobic nature improves susbstrate wetting, flow and leveling, and humidity and salt spray resistance making it suitable for a wide range of applications including automotive topcoats and general industral finishes

CYMEL® 303 LF resin is a highly methylated, monomeric melamine crosslinker supplied in liquid form at ≥ 98% solids content. Its high extent of alkylation and low tendency to self-condense make CYMEL® 303 LF resin a highly effective crosslinking agent for a broad range of applications such as can, container, automotive and general industrial coatings. While CYMEL® 303 LF resin is insoluble in water, it shows excellent compatibility with water-soluble backbone polymers and provides very good stability in amine-stabilized waterborne formulations.
