Polycin® 12 BIO is a 100% solids castor oil based polyol. It is a tetra-hydroxy ester, with primary and secondary hydroxyl groups, capable of producing high strength polyurethane compositions. Stringent processing techniques make this derivative appropriate for medical sealant and coating applications.

RHOPLEX® I-545 is a versatile all-acrylic aqueous vehicle suitable for overprint varnishes and letdowns for flexographic and gravure ink applications. It is a hard film former that offers a distinct combination of properties - good gloss, heat resistance and water resistance with fast drying speed. On press, RHOPLEX® I-545 has excellent transfer and printability with good resolubility for ease of clean-up.

Castung™ 403 U-V is a bodied dehydrated castor oil (DCO) that can be used with pure and modified phenolic resins to impart alkali resistance for can linings, corrosion resistant coatings, traffic paints, ink vehicles and marine finishes. The higher viscosity Castung™ 403 U-V will yield faster processing and drying times than Castung™ 103 G-H. Castung™ 403 U-V is excellent for formulating alkyd and copolymer resins, where dehydrated castor oil is well known for its non-yellowing and outstanding color retention characteristics.

Licocene® PE 4201 powder functions as an anti-offset agent, hot melt additive, and rub-resistant agent. It is used in hot melt adhesives and in electrophotography toners and printing inks.

VERSAL GREEN BG is a pigment used in plastics and elastomers.

RHOPLEX® B-60A is acrylic latex is a non-reactive binder used in specialty paper grades. It has excellent color stability and is recommended for paper applications where clarity and resistance to discoloration are desired.

Hostavin® 3050 liq is a low-molecular radical scavenger of the type hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for solventless paints. For solventborne systems we recommend its solutions which are Hostavin® 3053 liquid or Hostavin® 3063 liquid, instead. The latter can also be used in waterborne coatings.

Corrosperse™ 176A-100 70% is a 70% dispersion of Strontium Chromate in Aromatic 100. It has a Fineness of Grind (7 Hegman) which means no grinding is required and it can easily be incorporated using high speed mixing techniques. Because the product is a pourable liquid, there are none of the concerns associated with Hexavalent Chrome in pigment form, specifically respirable dust exposure.

ELVACE® 735 is a low VOC product used in packaging adhesives and waterborne adhesives. It functions as a binder and resin in CASE ingredients and as a resin in plastics and elastomers.

Ceridust® 3715 is a micronized, polar modified polyethylene wax recommended for solvent and water based coatings and inks.

CHROMASHINE® CPK20-X is an aluminum compound used as a metallic effect pigment.

CYMEL® U-216-8 resin is a partially n-butylated urea crosslinking agent supplied in a mixture of n-butanol and xylene. It possesses a lower molecular weight than most other butylated ureas, which contributes to its low bulk viscosity and high degree of hydrocarbon tolerance. CYMEL® U-216-8 resin displays excellent compatibility with most hydrophobic resins, such as epoxies, and can contribute to improved leveling and adhesion characteristics. VERSAL RED FGRD 01 is a pigment used in decorative paints, coatings and stains, industrial coatings, and offset lithographic printing. It is compatible with nitrocellulose and cures using radiation. This pigment is designed to enhance color in various coating and printing applications.

ACRYSOL™ DR-6600 offers the same performance as ACRYSOL RM-6, but without the use of APEO surfactants. ACRYSOL DR-6600 offers excellent gloss, film build and flow in latex paints. ACRYSOL DR-6600 is both APEO-free and solventfree and is thus well suited to meeting the latest regulatory requirements, under the proper conditions, for waterborne paints and coatings. ACRYSOL DR-6600 is effective in improving the high shear (ICI Cone and; Plate) viscosity, resulting in coatings that have high film build characteristics for improved hiding and appearance. Other benefits to the manufacturer include a virtual absence of roller spatter and the full realization of gloss potential for latex paints. Since ACRYSOL DR-6600 is of the hydrophobically-modified alkali-soluble chemistry it offers excellent long-term viscosity stability because it is inherently resistant to degradation through both enzymatic and bacterial routes.
