UCECOAT® 7891 is a high performance acrylated polyurethane dispersion specifically developed for UV curable field applied matte wood and VCT (vinyl composition tile) floor coatings. UCECOAT® 7891 allows for the development of low gloss formulations without the use of silicas or other particles. This results in formulations with better shelf life, since the settling of particles is no longer a concern. If very low gloss formulations are desired, silica can be used at very low levels to achieve this. The very low level of silica also translates into better formulation stability. Floor coatings based on UCECOAT® 7891 exhibit a good balance of flexibility and hardness, thus providing good adhesion and coin scuff. Excellent solvent and chemical resistance are also provided through use of UCECOAT® 7891.

VANCRYL® 68 S is an aqueous solution of VANCRYL® 68 acrylic resin, with ammonia used to affect the solution. VANCRYL® 68 S provides outstanding pigment wetting along with the viscosity stability needed for aqueous gravure and flexographic inks. The transfer properties and hold-out characteristics of inks prepared with this resin solution are excellent. In coatings, VANCRYL® 68 S provides high gloss, scuff resistance, and hardness. VANCRYL® 68 S is compatible with most acrylic vehicles and other vehicles such as maleic resins. VANCRYL® 68 S is effective as a protective colloid in the production of styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsions.

CYMEL® NF 3030 Resin is a formaldehyde-free crosslinking agent supplied in water. It was designed primarily for use in 2 component, ambient or forced cure, water-borne conversion varnishes for industrial wood when formulated with VIACRYL® SC 6834w/42WA amine-free acrylic emulsion. Resulting formulas exhibit superior catalyzed pot life relative to isocyanate-based conversion varnishes. The resulting coatings have excellent appearance, early hardness, resistance properties, and hot/cold cycle flexibility.
