Dynasylan® 1189 is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive secondary amine and hydrolyzable methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan® 1189 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter or as a surface modifier and can be used for the chemical modification of substances. Dynasylan® 1189 is a colorless to slight yellowish liquid with a light amineÂlike odor which is, for example, soluble in alcohols, and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Dynasylan® 1146 silane is characterized by randomlyÂdistributed linear and cyclic oligosiloxanes and fullfills the OECD polymer definition. Its low volatility and viscosity make compounding easy. CYMEL® 202 Resin is a methylated/n-butylated, high imino melamine crosslinker supplied in n-butanol. Its hydrophobic nature combined with high reactivity, high solids content, and rather low formaldehyde release during the curing process makes CYMEL® 202 Resin suitable for a wide range of medium to high solids or waterborne baking applications, like can and container coating formulations, automotive coatings, and low cure systems to improve film appearance and resistance properties. CYMEL® 202 resin has a high tendency to self-condense at rather low baking temperatures, providing films with very good hardness, gloss, chemical resistance, and outdoor durability.
