LOTADER® 9305T is a random ethylene-vinyl acetate-maleic anhydride terpolymer (EVA- MAH). As an ethylene copolymer, LOTADER® 9305T is compatible with PE in all proportions, and with most ethylene copolymers. Vinyl acetate brings softness, flexibility, and polarity while maleic anhydride brings reactivity, leading to versatile adhesive properties to polar and non-polar substrates. LOTADER® 9305T is compatible with most tackifying resins and waxes and can be used in hot melt adhesives formulations. MARLOX® RT 42 is one of the many low-foaming EO/PO non-ionic surfactants produced by Sasol Chemicals in Germany. They are produced by alkoxylation of the fatty alcohols to varying degrees using ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. LOTADER® AX8900 is a random ethylene-methyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer. Acrylic ester brings softness and polarity, while keeping high thermal stability during processing. The high content of acrylic ester leads to high flexibility (low crystallinity) and high impact absorption behaviour. Glycidyl methacrylate provides reactivity (versus OH, COOH and NH₂ groups), leading to optimal dispersion during melt mixing with engineering thermoplastics. As an ethylene copolymer, LOTADER® AX8900 is compatible with LDPE in all proportions, and with almost all other ethylene copolymers. LOTADER® AX8900 is suitable as an additive to improve impact strength of engineering thermoplastics (PPS, PBT, PET) and PC/PBT, PC/PET and PC/ABS alloys. LOTADER® AX8900 can be used as a compatibiliser for polyesters/polyolefins blends and in some formulated adhesive tapes.
