Even at very low concentrations, CARPOL® Nionic™ 1400 can be used to reduce the superficial tension of liquids, including high viscosity liquids. Defoaming performance is a function of cloud point and end use temperature and CARPOL® NIONIC™ 1400 has a high cloud point of 77o C. These materials are water soluble at low temperatures and will flocculate when warmed above their cloud point.
