EBECRYL®

EBECRYL® 605/40 is a bisphenol A epoxy diacrylate diluted approximately 40% by weight with the reactive diluent tripropylene glycol diacrylate (TPGDA) (1) to provide a lower viscosity, easier handling product. EBECRYL® 605/40 exhibits light color and fast cure response. Films of EBECRYL 605/40 cured via ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) demonstrate high gloss, surface hardness, and superior chemical resistance.

EBECRYL® P104 is an acrylated amine used as a hydrogen donor, or photoactivator, in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. benzophenone), EBECRYL P104 provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. Recommended levels are from 5 to 15% based on total formulation, usually combined with 3-5% photosensitizer. EBECRYL P104 can be used with EBECRYL P39 (a polymeric benzophenone derivative) for formulations requiring low residual odor.

EBECRYL® 4740 is a weather-stable aliphatic urethane acrylate having a low viscosity due to the allophanate structure. Formulations based on EBECRYL® 4740 exhibit high reactivity and yield tough and elastic polymers. Coatings formulated with EBECRYL® 4740 are characterized by very good chemical and mechanical resistances, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, and high resistance to yellowing.

EBECRYL® 445 is a reactive chlorinated polyester resin diluted 40% with the reactive diluent trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA)(1). EBECRYL 445 is not based on bisphenol A raw materials, and is tin-free. EBECRYL 445 exhibits good lithographic behavior and pigment wetting properties, and fast cure response in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. Cured films of EBECRYL 445 display good adhesion to metals, and paper.

EBECRYL® 8606 is an aliphatic urethane tetraacrylate. Films of EBECRYL® 8606 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) have a unique combination of hardness, toughness, flexibility, and abrasion resistance coupled with outstanding exterior durability properties. These performance properties make EBECRYL® 8606 ideal for applications such as paint protection, printed electronics, automotive interior film and embossing or thermoforming after cure.

EBECRYL® 770 functions as a monomer and oligomer in CASE ingredients. It belongs to the chemical mixtures and blends family.

EBECRYL® 4150 is an undiluted isocyanate functional urethane acrylate designed for use in two component dual cure systems for coatings on wood, plastic and metal.

EBECRYL® 8209 is a di(trimethylolpropane) tetraacrylate belonging to acrylics, acrylates, polyurethanes (PU), and urethane acrylates chemical families. It functions as a binder and resin in CASE ingredients.

EBECRYL® 4101 is an undiluted aliphatic urethane acrylate designed for coatings on wood, cork, furniture, paper, parquet and film.

EBECRYL® 4250 is an undiluted isocyanate functional urethane acrylate designed for use as an adhesion promoter in UV/EB coatings and in two component dual cure systems for coatings on wood, plastic and metal.

EBECRYL LEO® 10103 is a multifunctional acrylate that in the presence of an amine synergist can enable the UV curing of printing inks and coatings without, or with only a minimal amount, of photoinitiator. The elimination or reduction of photoinitiator decreases the potential for migration in indirect food contact applications. EBECRYL LEO® 10103can be used for low migration over print varnishes along with flexographic and offset inks in the entire color range, including white. EBECRYL LEO® 10103 at 10-20% by weight in a coating or ink can provide a good balance of surface and through cure.

EBECRYL® LEO 10501 is a trifunctional diluting oligomer that provides low extractables, low odor and low migration after UV or EB curing. It is compatible with a wide range of acrylated resins. EBECRYL® LEO 10501 can be used to produce low odor and low migrating UV overprint varnishes (OPV’s) and inks for indirect food contact applications. x

EBECRYL® 286 is an aliphatic urethane diacrylate oligomer diluted 25% with tripropylene glycol diacrylate (TPGDA) monomer. Films of EBECRYL® 286 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit excellent exterior durability, toughness, and flexibility, as well as the non-yellowing properties typical of an aliphatic urethane.

EBECRYL® 8811 is used in radiation-curable coatings and functions as a binder and resin in CASE ingredients.
