Additin® RC 2541

Additin® RC 2541 is a polysulfide-based extreme pressure additive designed for use in greases, industrial oils, and metalworking fluids. It is compatible with metal and yellow metals and provides good load-carrying capacity and low viscosity. The product functions as an extreme pressure additive in greases, industrial lubricants, metalworking fluids, and rolling oils.

  • Additin® RC 2541 is a dialkylpolysulfide with low copper corrosion and improved load carrying capacity.
  • It is suitable for use in applications where high sulfur content and reactivity is required, but yellow metal compatibility at moderate temperatures is also necessary.
