Additin® RC 9207

Additin® RC 9207 is a sulfurized ester-based chemical blend used as an anti-wear agent, antioxidant, and corrosion inhibitor in hydraulic fluids. It is barium-free, calcium-free. The product provides excellent corrosion resistance, demulsibility, filtration, oxidation stability, thermal stability, and high load-carrying capacity. It is suitable for use in connector greases, hydraulic fluids, offshore lubricants, and finishing fluids, and is compatible with metal, non-ferrous metal, and steel substrates.

Additin® RC 9207 is a barium- and calcium-free hydraulic fluid package offering excellent antiwear, corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at treat rates as low as 0,45% by weight. Due to its high load carrying capacity Additin® RC 9207 can be used to formulate high performance hydraulic fluids with antiwear reserve. Additin® RC 9207 also exhibits good filtration properties even in the presence of water and when extremely fine filters are used.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions

Store in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months. This product is liable to crystallization at low temperatures. If this occurs, gentle warming up to 40 - 50 °C with agitation will ensure homogenity of the product without adverse effects. Local overheating - above 60 °C - must be avoided.
