- ALUGEL 30 DF serves as a lubricant in the production of polyamides and thermosets. ALUGEL 30 DF has a strong gelification effect and is therefore used as a thixotropic thickening agent in the production of varnishes and lacquers. As a gelling agent for oils, it forms transparent, water-repellent greases.
- Furthermore, it is used as a hydrophobic agent in the building industry. The fine particle size distribution provides excellent dispersion properties in blending, compounding, and extrusion equipment.
- Key Features
- ALUGEL 30 DF is produced from a high-quality, animal-derived fatty acid for grease, lacquer, and polymer applications requiring a finely divided powder with good handling and feeding characteristics.
- ALUGEL 30 DF is insoluble in water, lower alcohols, esters, and ketones, soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, glycol, chlorinated hydrocarbons, mineral, and vegetable oils.
