Product Applications
  • AP 1032 is used in combination with liquid epoxy resins or solid epoxy resin solutions or epoxy resins modified by means of reactive diluents or non-reactive diluents. Suitable for making high-solids and solvent-less coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
  • AP 1032 is suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems. Ideal for high-solid marine and heavy-duty surface coatings. Can be used for potable water tank coatings and pipeline coatings.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • AP 1032 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 5 to 30°C.
  • AP 1032 should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Shelf life: (5 to 30°C): 12 months.
  • Hazardous decomposition products: (When in fire) carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and other toxic gases and vapors.
Handling Information
  • AP 1032 will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization.
  • AP 1032 may emit fumes in the presence of high humidity (>40% RH) and in an acidic environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment and follow industrial hygiene procedures.
  • It is recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, and masks suitable for chemicals and solvents and their vapors.
