Product Applications

It is used in combination with liquid Epoxy resins or solids epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents. Ideal for concrete substrates as well as solvent-free of high solid protective coatings e.g., structural steel, concrete etc. The product can be applied to all types of wet-damp and difficult to wet substrates.

Properties

Physical Form
Product Properties

Epoxy coating systems cured with AP4402 present the following features.

  • Outstanding adhesion to wet concrete and sand-blasted steel
  • Very good corrosion protection
  • Good working properties with low viscosity
  • High level of mortar stability can be achieved by use of AP 4402

Safety & Health

Handling Precautions

The hardener will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization. Use personal protective equipments and follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical and solvents & their vapor.
