- Dosage Information
- Bluesil™ ADD 11013 is recommended to be added after the pigments to minimize potential risk of color change.
- Thinning of Bluesil™ ADD 11013 with an appropriate diluent (see above) may make its incorporation into the formulation easier.
- A dose of between 0.2 and 0.5 % is normally enough. However, when a particular mar-resistant surface finish is required, doses can be increased up to 1 to 2 %.
- These suggested doses are for orientation. Optimal levels must be determined by laboratory tests.
- Product Applications
- Bluesil™ ADD 11013 Improves their flow and leveling properties,
- It provides excellent substrate wetting of critical surfaces, especially for water-based paints and inks,
- It acts as a mar and scratch resistance agent.
- Bluesil™ ADD 11013 does not negatively effect intercoat adhesion.
