BONDERITE® L-GP 2412

BONDERITE® L-GP 2412 is a concentrated graphite lubricant and coating material specially formulated for demanding high temperature applications up to 900°F (482°C). High heat resistance plus the very low residue left by the fluid component make BONDERITE® L-GP 2412 ACHESON (known as DAG 2412) ideal for such applications as gasket coatings, foundry maintenance operations, and brazing and welding stop-off coatings. Gaskets seal effectively and release easily when pretreated with BONDERITE L-GP 2412 ACHESON (known as DAG 2412).

    Method of Use:

Surface Preparation: Substrates should be clean. Loose dirt can be removed by wiping with a clean cloth. For maximum adhesion of the
coating, a solvent rinse or degreasing bath is recommended.

    Dilution and Mixing:
BONDERITE® L-GP 2412 ACHESON (known as DAG 2412) is a concentrate and should be diluted for most applications.
Agitate the concentrate to a smooth, uniform consistency before and during dilution. BONDERITE® L-GP 2412 ACHESON (known as DAG 2412) may be diluted with mineral spirits, kerosene, Stoddard solvent, or other similar hydrocarbons. The dilution ratio will vary with the particular job requirements, but usually ranges from 1:3 to 1:10 (product: solvent).

    Application:
Agitate the diluted BONDERITE® L-GP 2412 ACHESON (known as DAG 2412) to a uniform consistency just before application. The product can then be applied by spray, brush or dip, whichever method suits the job.
