Foral® 85

Foral® 85 resin is a glycerol ester of hydrogentated gum rosin. It is an exceptionally pale, thermoplastic resin that has outstanding resistance to oxidation and to discoloration caused by heat and ageing. It can be used in a wide array of adhesive tackifier applications and in protective/barrier type coatings where light color and oxidation resistance are needed.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Stability of about 6 months in standard storage conditions, sheltered and temperature-controlled (<25°C). No stacking of pallets.
  • Remove the plastic film protection from the pallet once correctly stored.
  • As this product is sensitive to gradual oxidation and to compaction, appropriate storage and a strict inventory control is critical (oldest material used first) especially during hot periods.
  • Over time, storage at higher temperature and pressure (from stacking pallets) will accelerate re-massing of this product.
