PLATAMID® M 1276

Platamid® M 1276 is a thermoplastic co-polyamide hot melt adhesive available in pellet form. This medium melt viscosity grade is particularly suitable for manufacturing webs, nets, mono- and multi-filaments, and films by extrusion.

  • Platamid® M 1276 offers a very good adhesion to various polar substrates (thermoplastics, thermosets, metal natural fibers, etc).
  • In addition, Platamid® M 1276 also exhibits strong adhesion onto rigid and plasticized PVC as well as ABS, epoxy resin, PU etc.
  • Dense layers of Platamid® M 1276 are known to have barrier properties against PVC plasticizer migration.
  • According to ASTM D6866, the biobased carbon content is measured at 26%.
