Preventol® ON Extra Preservative have a broad spectrum of activity with efficacy against bacteria and fungi. Preventol® ON Extra Preservative has excellent thermal stability. Preventol® ON Extra Preservative can be incorporated into solid products such as print thickeners and powdered glues. An even distribution of the active ingredient in the finished product, which is necessary to guarantee a reliable effect, can be achieved by mixing and grinding the product.

Preventol® ON Extra Preservative is compatible with:
- Metals: 304,304N,304L,316,316 L European Steel No. 1.4408, 321 and 316Ti.
- Plastics: PF,PP, EPDM, Teflon (PTFE) and GFK (e.g. Atlac 382, Atlac 580, Atlac and Derakane 470
As with any product, use of the products mentioned in this publication in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) by the user in advance to determine suitability.
Safety & Health
- Safety Precautions
Preventol® ON Extra Preservative is supplied as a solid product which must be prevented from coming into contact with the skin. Care should be taken to prevent the dust being inhaled. When handling . Preventol® ON Extra Preservative general recommendations for handling any chemicals should be ovserved, e.g. wearing of protective clothing, safety goggles and protective gloves. Skin contact and inhalation of vapors should be avoided. If the product comes into contact with the body, the affected area should be washed immediately with large amounts of soap and water (e.g. product that has been splashed in the eyes should be rinsed out immediately with plenty of water). If irritation persists, the affected individual should obtain medical attention. Contaminated clothing should be removed and properly cleaned or disposed.

Storage & Handling
- Storage Information
Preventol® ON Extra Preservative should be stored in the original sealed containers. If stored properly, Preventol® ON Extra Preservative has a shelf life of at least 24 months. If exposed to air, light, moisture or heat, product may diskolor (turning a slight red color). Discoloration of the material does not affect the efficacy of the biocide.
