Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Under cover and at temperature between 15 and 30°C maximum with a recommended storage and handling temperature at around 20°C.
  • Containers must be kept sealed under cool, dry conditions.
  • When stored in bulk, nitrogen blanketing is recommended.
  • If BD5 is subjected to cold temperatures during storage or transportation it may come cloudy or show some precipitation.
  • This is a normal characteristic and not a defect.
  • If affected, the material should be gently heated to max. 30°C and circulated or agitated to restore the clear and bright condition.
  • Rotating sealed stock every 6 months would be best practice.
  • Stability: Stability of about 18 months in standard conditions
