It is a pale, thermoplastic, acidic resin, Hydrogenation makes this resin highly resistant to oxidation and discoloration and to changes in solubility characteristics, when it is exposed to air and heat. EBECRYL® 3300 is a highly reactive epoxy acrylate, diluted in DPGDA. When formulated and cross-linked with other suitable radiation curable oligomers and reactive diluents, it results in durable, hard-elastic and chemically resistant coating films of high quality. For UV curing a suitable photoinitiator must be added to the formulation. The addition level depends on the line speed, number of lamps and thickness of the coating film.

DOP is still widely used as a plasticizer in selected applications where volatiles are less of an issue. It is also used as a hydraulic fluid and as a dielectric fluid in capacitors. DOP was the most widely used material as a plasticizer in manufacturing of articles made of PVC. Due to toxicity reasons, its usage has dropped and has been replaced by lower volatile phthalate and phthalate free products in some PVC and other applications.

VANCRYL® 65 is a medium molecular weight solid acrylic resin that is soluble in alkaline water solutions. Ammonia or other bases may be used as neutralizing agents. Co-solvents such as isopropanol are not required in making the solution, thus facilitating the preparation of low VOC inks and coatings. VANCRYL® 65 provides outstanding properties for high-solids gravure inks and waterborne clear overprint varnishes. The lower viscosity characteristics in solution of VANCRYL 65 allow the preparation of high solids inks and coatings, where high gloss and rapid drying are essential. Coatings prepared with VANCRYL® 65 have high gloss, scuff resistance, hardness, and excellent resolubility. VANCRYL® 65 is compatible with most acrylic and maleic resins. VANCRYL® 65 is also effective as a protective colloid in the production of styrene acrylic copolymer emulsions.
