EBECRYL® 109 is an acrylate - methacrylate monomer blend, containing 50% of trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) and 50% hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). It polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. EBECRYL® 109 is particularly useful in coatings where a good thermal and/or chemical resistance are important.

EBECRYL® 811 is an ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) curable polyester acrylate for either wet or dry offset printing on plastic substrates. Inks made using EBECRYL® 811 obtain excellent adhesion to calendered vinyl, polystyrene, polyolefins, polycarbonate and PVC. The water balance of this product allows inks based upon it to be run on press with low amounts of fountain solution: a key parameter for printing on non-absorbent substrates.

EBECRYL® 3415 is a modified bisphenol A epoxy acrylate diluted with 40% 1, 6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA). This acrylated epoxy was developed for ultraviolet light (UV) curable screen printing, and exhibits excellent reactivity and good adhesion to various non-porous substrates. EBECRYL® 3415 meets all regulatory requirements and is no longer subject to the Significant New Use Rule (SNUR).

TMPEOTA is a reactive diluent commonly used in ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) energy curable coatings and inks. EBECRYL® 1360 is a silicone hexaacrylate that improves slip, substrate wetting and coating flow and leveling when used as an additive in formulations cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). Cured films containing EBECRYL® 1360 will exhibit a smooth, tack free surface, with good blocking resistance. Because of its acrylate functionality, the silicone cures into the polymeric backbone, thus eliminating the migration that free silicones often display in coatings. EBECRYL® 1360 is particularly effective in EB cured formulations.

EBECRYL® 8210 is an aliphatic urethane acrylate that exhibits low viscosity and high reactivity in ultraviolet (UV) light or electron beam (EB) curable coatings. Cured films of EBECRYL® 8210 demonstrate high hardness with good scratch, abrasion and chemical resistance. EBECRYL® 8210 also contains primary hydroxyl groups that can be utilized for dual cure polymerization. Dual cure can provide instantaneous tack-free coating surfaces via UV or EB exposure while reaction of the hydroxyl groups with a suitable isocyanate enables polymerization in regions of the coating where UV or EB energy exposure is insufficient or absent.

PETIA is a multifunctional reactive diluent with a high degree of acrylic unsaturation and finds use in a variety of ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings and ink systems where a high degree of crosslinking is desired. PETIA is a mixture of predominantly the tri- and tetra-acrylate esters of pentaerythritol. PETIA has a higher ratio of tri - to tetra-acrylate ester than the similar product EBECRYL 180, and therefore remains liquid at normal ambient temperatures.
