3M™ Glass Bubbles iM16K are high-strength polymer additives made from a water-resistant and chemically-stable soda-lime borosilicate glass. These hollow glass microspheres can be used as a low density filler material ideal for plastic and rubber parts created from injection molding, extrusion processes, and/or other vigorous processing equipment (e.g., Banbury mixers, etc.), offering improved processing over many conventional fillers. They can reduce final part weight by 15% or more without compromising the mechanical integrity. 3M™ Glass Bubbles iM16K help to reduce weight, improve dimensional stability, reduce shrinkage and sink marks, and contribute to material and process cost savings. They may be ideal additive materials for applications in the automotive, heavy truck, aerospace, electrical, sports and leisure, electronics, appliance and durable goods industries. 3M glass bubbles are also valuable in construction products such as polymer/wood composites and siding helping not only to reduce part weight, but also to improve dimensional stability and nail-ability.

3M™ Glass Bubbles K20HS are high-strength additives for polymers made from a water-resistant and chemically stable soda-lime borosilicate glass. These hollow glass bubbles can be compounded with a variety of polymers to reduce the overall density of the composite. These composites can be incorporated into deep sea syntactic foam buoyancy modules to improve uplift properties of the system at minimal foam volumes. The high strength of K20HS glass bubbles can withstand both the high processing shear forces of polymer mixing and the pressure of seawater in many applications. 3M™ Glass Bubbles K20HS have isostatic crush strengths of 750 psi with a minimum of 90% survival.

3M™ Glass Bubbles S28HS are high-strength additives for polymers made from a water-resistant and chemically stable soda-lime borosilicate glass. These hollow glass bubbles can be compounded with a variety of polymers to reduce the overall thermal conductivity of the composite. These composites can be coated or incorporated into deep sea oil pipelines to improve the flow assurance properties of the system.

3M™ Glass Bubbles S42XHS is high-strength additives for polymers made from a water-resistant and chemically stable soda- lime-borosilicate glass. These hollow glass microspheres can be compounded with a variety of polymers to reduce the overall thermal conductivity of the composite. These composites can be coated or incorporated into deep sea oil pipelines to improve the flow assurance properties of the system. The high strength of S42XHS glass bubbles can withstand both the high processing pressure of polymer extrusion and the pressure of seawater in many applications. The S42XHS glass bubbles have isostatic crush strengths of 8000 psi with a minimum of 90% survival.

3M™ Glass Bubbles XLD3000 are high-strength additives for polymers made from a water-resistant and chemically stable soda-lime-borosilicate glass. These hollow glass bubbles can be compounded with a variety of polymers to reduce the overall thermal conductivity of the composite. These composites can be coated or incorporated into deep sea oil pipelines to improve the flow assurance properties of the system.

AEROSIL® R 711 is a fumed silica aftertreated with a methacrylsilane.

AEROXIDE® Alu C Silica is a fine-particulate, pure aluminium oxide with high specific surface area and marked aggregate and agglomerate structure. Because of it high purity and low water content, the product can be used well as an additive to an organic materials, for heat insulation, and also as a catalyst substrate. The positive surface charge can be used to control the electrostatic charge.

D.E.R.® 721 is an aliphatic liquid epoxy resin based on a reaction product of epichlorohydrin and C12-C14 alcohol.

D.E.R.® 723 is an aromatic liquid epoxy resin based on a reaction product of epichlorohydrin and ortho-cresol.

D.E.R.® 727 Epoxy Diluent is a p-tert.-butyl-phenyl glycidyl ether based reactive diluent.

Dynasylan® 1122 is a secondary aminofunctional ethoxysilane possessing two symmetric silicone atoms. Dynasylan® 1122 acts as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers), as a surface modifier and can be used for the chemical modification of substances. Dynasylan® 1122 is a colorless to yellow liquid with an amine- like odor which is, for example, soluble in alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Dynasylan® 1124 is a secondary aminofunctional methoxy- silane possessing two symmetric silicon atoms. Dynasylan® 1124 acts as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers), as a surface modifier and can be used, for the chemical modification of substances. Dynasylan® 1124 is a colorless to yellow liquid with an amine-like odor, which is, for example, soluble in alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
