Gravure Ink, High Gloss Coating, Solventless & High Solids Coating, Varnishes
Features:
Excellent Holdout, Excellent Ink Transfer, Good Hardness, High Gloss, Low Foaming, Low VOC, Low Viscosity, Medium Molecular Weight, Resolubility, Scuff Resistance, Wide Resin Compatibility
VANCRYL® 65 is a medium molecular weight solid acrylic resin that is soluble in alkaline water solutions. Ammonia or other bases may be used as neutralizing agents. Co-solvents such as isopropanol are not required in making the solution, thus facilitating the preparation of low VOC inks and coatings. VANCRYL® 65 provides outstanding properties for high-solids gravure inks and waterborne clear overprint varnishes. The lower viscosity characteristics in solution of VANCRYL 65 allow the preparation of high solids inks and coatings, where high gloss and rapid drying are essential. Coatings prepared with VANCRYL® 65 have high gloss, scuff resistance, hardness, and excellent resolubility. VANCRYL® 65 is compatible with most acrylic and maleic resins. VANCRYL® 65 is also effective as a protective colloid in the production of styrene acrylic copolymer emulsions.

EBECRYL® 7100
Principal:
allnex Radcure
Functions:
Photoinitiator
Chemical Family:
Acrylated Amines
End Uses:
Radiation Curable Adhesive, Radiation Curable Coating, Radiation Curable Ink, Screen Printing Ink, Top Coat

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polycarbonates (PC), Polyesters, Polyphenylene Ether (PPE)
Features:
Good Cure Response, Good Moisture Resistance, Good Pigment Wetting, High Gloss, Improves Adhesion, Low Viscosity
EBECRYL® 7100 is an acrylated amine primarily used as a hydrogen donor, or photoactivator, in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. benzophenone), EBECRYL® 7100 provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. Unlike conventional tertiary amines such as N-methyldiethanolamine, EBECRYL® 7100 reacts to become part of the UV cured polymer, resulting in lower residual odor and improved moisture resistance. EBECRYL® 7100 also promotes adhesion to plastic substrates and lowers viscosity when used as a primary component in UV adhesives and coatings.
